Visiting the Toronto Light Festival

Looking for something to do in Toronto this weekend? We checked out the Toronto Light festival set up in the Distillery District this past week and it was well worth the visit. There are a ton of really impressive light installations set up throughout the district, some even interactive, and all offering amazing photo opportunities.

This is the last weekend of the festival, Sunday March 3rd being the last day so if you are in the Toronto area or in town visiting don’t miss it.  If you plan to head over make sure to dress warm, best to view the lights when it is dark out to get the full experience and the best pictures. Grab a coffee on the go at Balzac’s and hot chocolate for the kiddos so you can keep warm during your stroll. Looking to have dinner at the same time? ensure to book reservations in advance , it’s crazy busy and could take up to 2 hours to get a table. This way you can enjoy your meal and enjoy the festival after, while you walk off your gained calories LOL.

If you opt out of reservations or forget, we would suggest putting your name on the waiting list and then you can enjoy the festival as you wait for your table and then again after dinner to catch whatever you missed. Most importantly  don’t forget you cameras.

Hope you check it out and have fun.

Luca’s favorite was the lit up igloo that you can enter.
